RateAI Corporation Launches to Bring Independent Safety Certification to AI

15 de junho de 2026

RateAI Corporation today announced its formation as a Delaware corporation with a singular mission: to become the independent certification authority for customer-facing artificial intelligence products.

Every transformative technology has eventually required an independent safety authority. Electricity got Underwriters Laboratories. Pharmaceuticals got the FDA. Enterprise software got SOC 2. Artificial intelligence, the most consequential technology of our era, has had nothing.

Closing the trust gap

Today, AI labs grade their own homework, vendors self-certify, and buyers, regulators, and parents are asked to take the box's word for it. RateAI was founded to close that gap.

The company's A.E.G.I.S.™ framework evaluates AI systems across seven independent safety pillars and issues a standardized rating backed by a public registry the entire market can verify.

RateAI Corporation Launches to Bring Independent Safety Certification to Artificial Intelligence

New company introduces A.E.G.I.S.™ certification framework to provide independent, standardized safety ratings for customer-facing AI systems.

Los Angeles, California, June 15, 2026: RateAI Corporation today announced its formation as a Delaware corporation with a singular mission: to become the independent certification authority for customer-facing artificial intelligence products.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming embedded in everyday life, from children's toys and digital assistants to healthcare, financial services, education, and autonomous systems. Yet unlike nearly every major technology that preceded it, AI lacks an independent organization responsible for evaluating safety before products reach consumers.

Every transformative technology has eventually required trusted third-party oversight. Electricity gained independent product certification. Pharmaceuticals are evaluated before reaching patients. Information security relies on standardized third-party audits. AI, despite its growing influence on billions of people, has largely relied on developers evaluating their own systems.

RateAI was founded to close that trust gap.

The company has developed A.E.G.I.S.™ (Artificial Evaluation for Guardrails, Integrity & Safety), a comprehensive certification framework that independently evaluates AI systems across seven core pillars of safety, governance, privacy, reliability, transparency, ethics, and human control. Products that successfully complete the evaluation receive a standardized safety rating and certification that can be independently verified through a public registry.

"Artificial intelligence has reached the point where trust can no longer depend solely on what developers say about their own products," said Payam Manavi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RateAI Corporation. "Consumers, enterprises, retailers, insurers, regulators, and governments all need an independent standard they can rely on. Our goal is to provide that trusted benchmark."

Unlike traditional software certifications that primarily evaluate security or compliance, A.E.G.I.S.™ examines how AI systems behave in real-world interactions, including their ability to prevent harmful outputs, protect user privacy, maintain appropriate safeguards, operate reliably, remain transparent, and provide meaningful human oversight.

RateAI believes independent certification will become increasingly important as AI expands into environments where safety and trust are essential, including:

  • Consumer AI devices
  • Children's AI toys and educational products
  • Healthcare applications
  • Financial services
  • Enterprise AI platforms
  • Autonomous agents and robotics
  • Government and public-sector AI deployments

The company intends to work with AI developers, manufacturers, retailers, insurers, enterprise buyers, and policymakers to establish a common, vendor-neutral standard that enables organizations to evaluate AI products using consistent, transparent criteria.

As AI adoption accelerates worldwide, independent certification offers organizations a practical way to demonstrate that their products have undergone rigorous third-party evaluation rather than relying solely on internal testing or vendor claims.

RateAI expects to begin working with early certification partners in the coming months while expanding the A.E.G.I.S.™ framework and public certification registry.
