About RateAI Corporation

The trust layer AI is missing

RateAI is an independent artificial intelligence safety certification company. We exist for one reason: the market has no neutral authority that tests, rates, and certifies AI products, so we are building it.

Our Story

Category creators, not category followers

Every transformative technology has eventually required an independent safety authority. Electricity got Underwriters Laboratories. Pharmaceuticals got the FDA. Video games got the ESRB. Enterprise software got SOC 2.

Artificial intelligence, the most consequential technology of our era, has nothing. AI labs grade their own homework. Vendors self-certify. Buyers, regulators, and parents are asked to take the box's word for it.

RateAI was founded to close that gap. Our A.E.G.I.S.™ framework evaluates AI systems across seven independent safety pillars and issues a standardized A-Scale rating, backed by a public registry the entire market can check. We are not a developer tool. We are market infrastructure.

What Guides Us

Our operating principles

Evaluator seated calmly at an empty table01

Independence First

We are paid for evaluation, never for outcomes. Fees are tied to testing milestones, not ratings. Our independence is the entire value of the certificate.

Standardized & Repeatable

Every system is measured against the same seven pillars with the same methodology, so an A-4 Shielded rating means the same thing across vendors and industries.

Defensible by Design

Our outputs are built to hold up in procurement reviews, insurance underwriting, and regulatory scrutiny, not just marketing pages.

Humans in the Loop

Automation gives us scale; expert review panels, red teams, and formal certification opinions give our ratings their authority.
